Dr Siao Yuong (Rong) Fong
Rong is Assistant Professor in Digital Media Industries in the Department of Culture, Media and Creative Industries at King’s College London. Her research focuses on global digital media industries, media labour, and inter-Asian production networks, with particular attention to East and Southeast Asia. Drawing on ethnographic approaches, her work examines the everyday practices of media production in the region and the dynamics of inter-Asian media work.

Dr Pei Sze Chow
Pei-Sze is Assistant Professor of Digital Culture and New Media at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, where she teaches courses on global cinema cultures from critical cultural perspectives. She researches the social, cultural, and political implications of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies on the labour of creative professionals in the cultural and creative industries, with a focus on Singapore and other Asian contexts. She is also interested in the socio-technical imaginaries of AI in popular media (e.g. cinema, TV) and how these simultaneously shape and are shaped by political and socio-economic imperatives within specific national contexts
